I love the practice of photography. It makes me slow down and notice, with as much nuance as possible, how beautiful the world in front of me is.

My career began in wedding photography and is now looping back around. I’ve also spent years as a stylist, creative director, designer, florist, instructor, interior designer, placemaker, and mom. About fifteen of those years have been in the wedding world, designing destination weddings (with work published in all the top publications), serving as the creative director for Once Wed (at the time one of the top three wedding websites in the world), and teaching wedding professionals from every continent.

After a hiatus while raising my kids and working in placemaking and nonprofits, I’m picking up my camera again (well, a new, better camera, actually) and training my oldest two kids, now adults, to shoot, too! (Kinda the best.)
